There were 2,652 students enrolled in Newton Comm School District schools in the 2023-24 school year, 2.8% less than the previous year, according to the Iowa Department of Education.

Of all students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 51.6% were boys, and 48.4% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, representing 82.5% of the Newton Comm School District's total enrollment.
