Curbside Yard Waste Collection

To help residents with fall cleanup, the Public Service Department will be performing a free brush and yard waste curbside collection. The week of November 14th, residents can set out bundled brush and bagged yard waste for free collection on their normal residential trash collection day. Items will need to be within four feet of the curb and will need to be out by 7:00 a.m. on their collection day.

  • Leaves, garden waste and grass clippings: These can be placed out in either compostable paper 30-gallon bags (weight not to exceed 40 lbs) or in a 32 gallon garbage can (weight not to exceed 60 lbs) Yard waste placed out in plastic bags will not be collected. There is a 20 bag/can limit per residence.
  • Brush and limbs: These should be bundled with twine or string (if wire is used, bundles will not be collected) bundles should be no longer than four feet in length and weigh no more than 60 lbs. The maximum diameter of limbs should be four inches. There will be a ten-bundle limit per residence
