Schedule of Events
The City of Newton's Fourth of July Celebration will take place at Agnes Patterson Memorial Park. Activities begin at 3 p.m.
- 3 p.m. | Co-Ed Sand Volleyball Tournament
- 4:30 p.m. | Three Point & Free Throw Contest
- 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. | Kids Zone (Inflatables)
- 6:15 - 9:15 p.m. | Entertainment provided by DJ Ray
- Dusk | Fireworks
Co-ed Sand Volleyball Tournament
The Co-Ed Sand Volleyball Tournament will take place at Agnes Patterson Memorial Park at on Monday, July 4. The start time for the tournament is 3 p.m.
A team is comprised of 6-9 players. There must be at least two females on the court for each team at all times. Players must be in 9th grade or older.

Three Point & Free Throw Contest
The Three Point & Free Throw Contest will take place at Agnes Patterson Memorial Park's basketball court (located by the soccer fields). Registration will take place the day of the event and rules will be handed out at the same time.

- 12 and under
Three Point Contest
Two Age Divisions:
- 17 & Under
- 18 & Older

Fun Zone & Live Music
The Kids Zone will feature inflatables and will open to the public from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.; live entertainment/music from DJ Ray will take place from 6:15 -to 9:15 p.m. during the Fourth of July Celebration.

Fireworks
The annual fireworks celebration will begin at dusk at Agnes Patterson Memorial Park.
