City of Newton recently issued the following announcement.
Cardinal Pond is CLOSED through the winter season to ice fishing, ice skating, and all other winter activities. Please do not venture out onto the ice. Signs have been posted around the perimeter of the pond as a reminder. Thank you for your cooperation.
