As U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst completed her fifth 99-county tour earlier in November, the Iowa GOP says her Democrat opponents aren’t making similar efforts at outreach.
“Iowans expect more from their candidates and deserve answers to the pressing questions they care most about,” the Iowa GOP website states.
“Chuck Schumer favorite, Theresa Greenfield, continues to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge her way through the Democratic primary, refusing to tell Iowa voters where she stands on issues ranging from impeachment to USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement),” the website states.
President Donald Trump supports the USMCA, which could help improve economic prospects for farmers and manufacturers.
While in Delaware County on her tour, Ernst’s website states that she visited the Black & Decker manufacturing plant in Dehli.
“During my tour of the facility, I had the chance to hear from employees and answer questions on a wide range of issues, including USMCA,” she posted on her website.
