Which political committee based in Franklin County spent the most during Q1?

Franklin County Republican Central Committee spent the most out of in Franklin County political committees during the first quarter of 2024, according to the Iowa.gov.

It spent $9,338 on eight vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was to First Bank Hampton, which is based in ZIP Code 50441.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in a city within Franklin County during the first quarter of 2024 came from Cerro Gordo County Republican Central Committee. It spent $5,733 during the time period on nine different vendors.

More than $22 million was raised for the Iowa Senate race in 2022. This was split fairly evenly between the Republican and Democrat parties.
