Event Description:
Looking for a stimulating way to engage your mind? If it’s Thursday and the library is open, we meet from 6:30 to 8 PM to discuss an issue of our choosing. People of different ages, experience, cultures, education, and beliefs gather with open minds. We choose a topic of mutual interest so we can open ourselves up to differing perspectives and ideas. Our goal isn’t to agree. Rather we seek to understand a variety of opinions on the definitions, reasons, and emotions of the question. We meet with commitment to respect, to listen, and to share. If you are looking for a thought – provoking 90 minutes, bring your ideas and thoughts to the meeting. We welcome you to join us.
