Event Description:
Grinnell Area Arts Council is thrilled to present "Painting Grinnell," a collection of work by plein air artist Karen Cooper. You may have seen Karen around town recently with her easel and paints, and we invite you to enjoy many Grinnell scenes from a new perspective! Karen is a Grinnell-based artist who has participated in numerous shows across the country and internationally.
Please join us for the opening reception on August 25 from 5:30-7pm. Karen will give an artist talk at 6pm.
Stewart Gallery is located on the main floor of the Grinnell Arts Center at 926 Broad Street. The exhibit will be open through September 24 with regular hours of Wednesdays through Fridays, 11am-5pm, and Saturdays, 10am-12pm. There is no admission charge to visit the gallery.
