Newton's Comprehensive Plan Update - Two New Opportunities

Genbusiness001

City of Newton recently issued the following announcement.

MSA, the consultant helping the City of Newton with the comprehensive plan update, has created a website that will serve as headquarters for the planning process and has links to various online engagement/feedback opportunities.

Take the Community Survey

A community-wide survey was created to garner as much citizen input as possible. Answers can be submitted online by visiting the link below, or hard-copies will be available around the community including the library and city hall. The survey serves as the beginning of the planning process and it will only be open for a short period of time, so be sure to submit your feedback as soon as possible! Your input will help guide the development goals and policies to support the City of Newton's planning and growth for the next 10-20 years.

The survey includes questions about why you chose Newton, what makes the city a great place to live, what you consider concerns or opportunities for growth, and some SWOT analysis about beautification, development and mobility.

Community Input Mapping

Do you have a favorite community asset? An idea for a park or landscape improvement? Do you want to see a specific building or natural area preserved? MSA, the professional consultant assisting with the project, has created a community input mapping tool made specifically for that purpose

Simply choose from a sticker and place it on the map to add your comments and thoughts! We want to see what you love about Newton and also what you would change or improve if possible.
