Japanese Masks & Folklore on November 2

Newton Public Library recently issued the following announcement.

Japanese Masks & Folklore

Join Tanis Sotelo from the Japan America Society of Iowa as he explores Japanese folklore and iconic characters through traditional and Anime masks. These masks play an important part in Japanese culture, and are often found in festivals and theater plays. This program is open to the public and is free to attend. No registration required. This program is designed for all ages and is family friendly. The program will be held in the library meeting room.
