When nature gives you a derecho and blows down hundreds of trees, you make tree stump pumpkins! This craft will include everything you need (except for a hot glue gun and scissors) and instructions to make three pumpkins that will playfully adorn your front step this fall. Once you have registered and paid for the class (via mailed in check or credit card over the phone) participants will select a time for curbside pick-up of your pumpkin supplies at the Grimes Farm Nature Center. Included in your supplies will be a link to a YouTube video that will show you step-by-step directions on how to assemble and decorate your pumpkins. The added bonus is you can create your pumpkins any time that works best for you. Pre-registration and payment of $30.00 is required to secure limited spots by October 2 before 4:00 p.m. Register by calling the Conservation Center at 641-752-5490, email mccb@marshallcountyia.gov, or text only 641-758-9777.
